now i’m emotional about Boromir’s death scene. his confession that he tried to take the ring from Frodo is devastating in both the book and the movie. Sean Bean does truly such an amazing job

also Aragorn is and remains really hot

ok Sean Bean’s performance of Boromir’s breakdown is phenomenal

i thought they weren’t gonna include Galadriel’s gift to Gimli but thank god they did. it’s one of my favorite things in the first book

i feel bad for the actor who plays Celeborn. imagine having to stand next to Cate Blanchett in all her elven glory

okay i will say that i think it was a mistake not to include the blindfold argument. it adds to the development of the relationship between Gimli and the elves and it paves the way for Gimli and Legolas’s relationship

we’re in Loth Lorien now and i’m realizing i’ve never seen Gimli without his helmet. mildly distressing. give my man his hat back

i will say Frodo is a Dramatic Bitch™️ and i love that about him

i do love how Sam in the movie is much more active in his defense of Frodo than in the books. i have Opinions about the movies vs the books but I think a lot of the changes they’ve made so far have been good
