Whatever caught him had bred him. That had to be it. Nothing else made sense. Now he had to dispose of the evidence without anyone finding out. This was not something he wanted to have to explain, and he’d rather carry this bizarre incident to his grave. He thought it was ridiculous—his stomach had swollen to the point he looked pregnant—he felt silly, huddled over trying to hide it like a kid sneaking midnight snacks. The second the plane touched down and he ordered the others to cover for him—he felt the zipper of his jacket start to strain. The whole speed-walk-run back to his room, Ghost’s belly sagged and bulged and heaved, until he could have easily passed as pregnant with triplets. He was damn near waddling when he shouldered his door open, then kicked it closed.
It felt like several rocks nestled inside him, warm and heavy and crowding his guts with their intense, crushing pressure. That could only mean one thing… eggs.
Simon leaned his head on the edge of the cot and pressed his forehead into his mattress, cringing at the fresh sweat re-wetting his soaked-through mask. He inhaled deeply, exhaled sharply, and shifted forward on his knees before settling back on his feet. His belly was so large, he had to strain to squat wide enough to make room for his enormous bulge. Each time he moved, no matter how minute an adjustment, it sent intense arousing shockwaves coursing through him. It was wishful thinking to believe the eggs hadn’t made it into his womb, but he was in so much throbbing pain, and his stomach was so large, there was no way his cervix hadn’t been breached by whatever-the-fuck-it-was.
