I thought you promised to give up all the social media for a while.
I'm certain London, Thunder Bay and Kingston taxpayers will love sharing the costs of Ottawa LRT.
Whot?
Even the picture suggests it is a nothing burger.
There is nothing this city can't break on the way to a transit improvement.
An arched bridge is reflected on a canal in the early blue hour before dawn. Three arches span the canal whilst another arch on each end accommodates cars. Light trails streak on each side.

Picture of text stating: show us what actions you can take to address congestion. Focus solutions on expanding and maximizing roadway capacity for driving. ....You may also need to recover roadway capacity from other purposes to support driving
"You may also need to recover road capacity
from other purposes to support driving." The Trump administration urges governors and mayors to take away bus lanes, bike lanes and sidewalks to support more driving. No kidding - straight from USDOT head Sean Duffy to every gov and mayor in America
"Did you know that the politician was friends with a nonce when you appointed him?" is not a question that should ever be answered with "which one"
Hey @helps.octranspo.com Your line 1 modified service notice is only available in French in Transit app. Did both languages get pushed out?
Two going out is service trains back to back is adding to frustrations here at Blair. It adds to frustration as E1 service has been reduced too.
Sigh. Missed the first train which I thought was parked / NIS because the doors were closed. 2nd and 3rd trains are going out of service when arriving at Blair.
Perhaps 4th time lucky?
Hey @helps.octranspo.com The trains are running normally announcement would be 100% more helpful if it also said the current frequency. ie "Trains are running normally with 10 min frequency."
As a person who is a bit geeky and a bit of a data nerd, I'm intrigued that this issue has happened every day since the new schedule came into effect. Bad data?

The EU now requires all Mobile Phones to be sold with easily replaceable and standardised batteries, as they used to be.
From 2027 they all will be again, in Europe.
Mine (replies are reawakening this) is that COVID frayed who we were as a society bc the effects were SO unequal. Lockdown in a house with a yard, or apartment? WFH for a long time, or essential worker? Caregiver or not? Underlying condition leading to caution, or disregard for masks/distancing?
Maybe thinking of it as deliberately tearing muscle fibre works better for you.
Every single article I read about Madonna at Coachella mentioned that she’s 67. Not one article I read about Nine Inch Nails at Coachella mentioned that Trent’s 60.
ISN’T THAT WEIRD?
It’s almost as if everything Madonna has ever said about misogyny is true, or something. 🤷♂️
Meta just paid the lowest effective federal tax rate in its history.
Thanks to tax breaks and loopholes, it avoided $13.7B in 2025 federal income taxes.
But now it's planning to lay off 10% of its global workforce (8,000 people) by May 20 — with more job cuts later this year.

Trump has released a picture of what his massive new arch would look like in Washington, D.C. Renewable energy buffs responded below with the project they'd like to see built at Mar-a-Lago.
Fingers crossed for you.
Uploading Ottawa’s LRT, but Doug is Lucy and Mark is Charlie Brown.
Hmm. Our 40th anniversary yesterday included many local people who still feel connected but don't attend. Those were interesting conversations.

"Polar Bear in a Snowstorm"
...and one last photo from our little #OCTranspo #art tour today.
This is "Polar Bear in a Snowstorm" framed and hanging in Rideau Station in #Ottawa. I think this is my favourite!
