With Katy Perry, living his best life. And, I mean, after a decade of every chud with a pickup truck declaring their desire to fuck him, let him have this.

Headline on Hollywood Reporter that reads ”Paddington 4, Escape From New York' Reboot in the Works”
I misread the headline as one movie and got very excited for a moment…
"The Ford government has reviewed regional governance in each of its three terms since 2018. It made no changes in 2019 and in 2023." Yet, with 3 weeks to go until prospective candidates can file their nomination papers, Ford announces his plans to appoint a chair with strong powers. 🤦♀️
"if you were in charge of star trek, what would you do?"
Seasons 3 and 4 of SFA. Seasons 3 and 4 of Prodigy. Streaming movies featuring SFA and Discovery casts. And a bunch of series with new characters and new ships and new stories. One stars Noah Wyle.
I am sure the astronauts are all VERY GOOD SPORTS and are more than happy to do whatever is asked of them for the sake of science but COME ON 😭

Lisa from Blackpink: a pretty young Asian woman wearing red armour which looks like musculature, with spikes protruding from her shoulder and arms as if they sprang out of her body.
L'Rell, a woman in heavy Klingon make-up, wearing white armour which looks as if it is carved out of bone, with spikes protruding out of her shoulders and arms.
Who wore it better: Lisa from BLACKPINK or L'Rell from the Klingon Empire
This thing handles so well it rides like it's on a rail.

NASA isn't why the US doesn't have universal healthcare, or a social safety net. The US doesn't have those things because politicians with the power to provide them choose specifically not to (with varying levels of support from voters). Enthusiasm for human spaceflight doesn't drive that choice.
This is so good

The urban/rural mix of Waterloo Region is one of the best draws of living here. Do you like charming small towns *and* having city amenities typically found in much larger places? We may not have access to a large body of water or... topography, but the balance we have is unique.

Text: Turn Willis Way into a pedestrian-only street between Caroline and Regina streets. Consider a bigger network of pedestrian-only streets, possibly removing traffic from sections of King, Regina and Caroline streets. Eliminate or repurpose parking spaces. Create a natural public space at the cenotaph area beside Laurel Creek behind city hall. Create a wildlife corridor throughout the uptown area. Promote greener standards for buildings, and provide incentives to support greener buildings. Create a culture of sustainability.
Yes, please! #WatCouncil buff.ly/GnFuqrj
I made a little Instagram reel about this image because it’s just so frickin’ cool
a white Kirby-themed SUV When I say Kirby-themed, I mean that the side has a giant depiction of Kirby in sunglasses with the Kirby logo next to him. The hood also has the Kirby logo with a smaller Kirby underneath it. The mirror has a warp star in it. The backseat window has a little Kirby decal and Kirby plushies decorate the dashboard.
gotta go my rides here
It’s refreshing to hear someone articulate at length and intelligently about moral values and responsibilities vs the cascade of ignorant soundbites we’re regularly subjected to. Highly recommend watching this entire interview (and you’ll learn how to pronounce Avi’s name correctly).
View across Victoria Park Lake of an old pedestrian bridge as seen through an open air round bandstand structure, in early spring
I appreciate that the Victoria Park bandstand lines up exactly with the Roos Island bridge

1. "Here's an extreme idea. We're platforming it, so that people can watch out."
2. "This idea is gaining traction. We're publishing an op-ed in favour, for balance."
3. "This idea is popular now. Why does the left refuse to consider it?"
