the team with the worst record in the league picks 14th, then the playoff teams draft from there. Reward competitiveness and make EVERY game mean something, even for those not going to the playoffs.

Here's a simple idea for all the pro leagues. Reverse the draft order. Instead of rewarding the worst team with the best pick, set the draft order in reverse of schedule. In the @nba.com example, the team with the 17th best record gets the first pick (most competitive team that missed the playoffs)

One of the underreported benefits of owning an EV is the lack of volatility in fuel prices. My electric rate at home, all in with delivery fees and associated taxes, is $.35 kWh which admittedly is high, but it doesn't waver like gas does.

For all of the snark Apple gets lately, I’m using a 3 year old MacBook Air and it runs like the day I took it out of the box and has years of runway ahead of it from a supported OS perspective.

With the new jobs revision...it's pretty clear we're entering, if not already in, a recession. Tech layoffs over the past 2+ years are spreading to the rest of the economy and inflation are a recipe for a challenging rest of year, if not next year.

Just saw Superman. Solid film, probably a B+. It’s a good start to the DCU. There were a lot of awesome moments but there were also a lot of lulls. In spite of that, it’s still the best Superman film since the Reeves films of the 80s. Krypto was the real star!
