Black and white illustration, drawn in ballpoint pen (with a touch of digital ink to darken or lighten certain areas) depicting a pistrix (a creature similar to a merfolk, but with a lower body resembling that of a kingfisher, rather than a generic fish). It is thin and somewhat weak-looking, with only one visible eye, while the other is covered by a tuft of drooping "hair" and a fin crest, which in other specimens is erect but here is drooping. The visible eye is white, due to the light reflecting off the tapetum lucidum. The pistrix is covered in jewels of various shapes and also in some drapes of fabric. It wears a distinctive crown, which falls crookedly on its head. Behind it, the shapes of a decorated throne and other various geometrical features can be discerned. This is an image of the legendary King Azoth.
King Azoth. He may or may not be a real king from the past and his people, the pistrix, may or may not have ever had a monarchy.

Speaking of ice, did you know there's a kind of ice that has a melting point of 69 degrees? I heard it's called... ice-9. Originally it was a substance invented by American science-fiction author Joe Mama, but recently, scientists have discovered that it actually exists and wow I can't believe you're still reading this, I'm actually really impressed and I really appreciate your commitment." A simplified Aoi is holding the bag and the rope and says "Works for me".
The third page of the comic. Panel 1: Hongou holds the prepared bottle carefully. Aoi and Akane are standing behind him, observing his movements with anxious looks on their faces. Panel 2: Hongou backs away slowly from the bottle which has been tied up to the pipes. He is saying "Alright... it's in place. So now..."
The fourth and final page of the comic. Panels 1-3: Three panels depicting progressively closer closeups of Aoi as he holds a chunk of dry ice in his hand and prepares to throw it with a malicious smile on his face. He is saying "Now. You. Catch!" Panel 4: A panel with an explosion-shaped border, depicing Hongou gesturing with a terrified look on his face as something behind him explodes and catches him in the blast. Panel 5: The previous panels in this page are revealed to be a thought bubble that pops up from Akane and Aoi's heads. In reality, she is preparing the bottle and he is dealing with the rope. She leans closer to him with a mischievous grin and whispers "Do it, coward." Aoi is trying not to laugh as he whispers "Akane stooooop."

Brought the Malaysian comics jammers to the Islamic arts museum! One of our first guided tours, with lots of insight into islam's depth/breadth of its influence on art and culture. I think everyone had a good time wandering, looking and drawing!!
