Did you know that 5 years ago, the youngest branch of UK Scouting officially scampered into life - Squirrels, for ages 4 to 6, became a brandโnew way for young people to begin their Scouting adventure.

This week at 1st Renton Cubs, they explored the exciting world of pioneering and lashings! The Cubs had a fantastic evening learning new skills, and it was brilliant to see our new Young Leaders getting stuck in and supporting the activities.

A special shout-out to any Squirrels starting primary school for the first time and to Scouts who have started secondary school.
On Saturday around 120 young people, leaders, and their families from 1st Rhu Scout Group enjoyed an unforgettable trip aboard the PS Waverley, sailing from Kilcreggan to Tighnabruaich and back.
A huge thank you to the amazing volunteers for organising such a great day out.

On Saturday 19th July, Scouts and Explorers, along with volunteers from across Dunbartonshire, came together to attend Glasgow Pride.
Scouting is a place where everyone is welcome, and we were honoured to be apart of this event. Thanks to everyone who represented Dunbartonshire Scouts at pride.
1st Cardross had the pleasure of hosting a Belgian Explorers as part of their Scottish adventure! After fun games and some great chats, they wished them well as they continued their journey. Safe travels! ๐ง๐ช๐๏ธ๐
