Our team is also growing & collaborations expanding, which is very exciting! Our clinical team has also grown with some of best #NeuroRads I’ve known—plus 4 more hires starting 2025 with 7 new MRIs (can’t wait to get hands on 2 new Cima.X scanners)! Stay tuned…2025 will be a big one! Happy Holidays!
Despite challenges, we had ~40 papers & able to share a lot of our experiences & developments. More importantly, I’ve seen tremendous success of many current & former mentees in their own careers—hard to express the pride and happiness I have for them!
Looking back on 2024, it was quite the journey! Easily 1 of most challenging years of research work, but also have seen my team at their finest! I can’t express my excitement to share things coming & progress made!
Fantastic @rsnasky.bsky.social session on #epilepsy by an all-star group Dhairya Lakhani, Noriko Salamon, Licia Luna, & Steve Jones covering all aspects of epilepsy imaging! #RSNA24
Thank you! 🙏
Very cool subthalamic lesion study relating anatomical location and connections to symptom-specific outcomes in PD: similar topographies as in my amazing colleague‘s @nanditharajamani.bsky.social recent work on symptom-specific DBS outcomes (doi.org/10.1038/s414...)

Thank you, AuntMinnie, for this humbling recognition! I’m fortunate to have tremendous support from Mayo Clinic & a world-class research team that constantly challenges me. Most important thing I’ve learned is to surround yourself with people who share your ambition & vision!
