This is a disappointment. I use Draft2Digital for e-book distribution, but I don't get enough sales through them for it to be worth paying a fee in addition to their normal cut of the sales. I will be removing them my business and marketing plans.
That's why I fed it a sample that was already publicly available and had been used by spam scammers claiming they read my book, loved my book, and want to do special things with my book. The AI detectors also say pay us and we'll humanize your writing. It's all a scam.

One of the tools I use is a mind mapping tool called FreeMind that I downloaded from SourceForge. I find it useful for brainstorming and organizing my ideas. Moreover, I can plan a story and then copy the mind map into my word processor as an outline. #AmWriting #writingcommunity

I don't plan to change how I write, which includes em dash, Oxford comma, and rhetorical devices that have been declared AI.
They were called Radium Girls.
As I write and edit, I label things.
"Chekhov's gun" meaning it's intending to be foreshadowing, else it must be removed.
"Needs foreshadowing" to remind myself to go back and find a place to foreshadow.
Sometimes, though, foreshadowing accidentally happens.
Weaving threads into tapestry is fun.
My current project begins with an unlabeled prologue. These people will read it, turn the page, see "Chapter 1," and curse that I tricked them into reading a prologue.
When I began writing fiction, I thought I could because I was a good technical writer. I discovered writing fiction is a different skill set. I studied and practiced. At 500,000-words, I saw improvement. Now past a million, I'm proud of my writing. Using AI would never give me that feeling of pride.
