When you see a cat at a train station it's hard not to assume they have some sort of responsibility.
Yep - me too. I can definitely empathise with Lucy!
I'm writing my next Substack newsletter.
Linus!
If it were possible to have one, Linus would be my cartoon crush.
Latest Substack -- David Lynch, LA wildfires, stepping out of comfort zones, and how it's been 10 years since Sufjan Stevens released the lovely 'Carrie & Lowell', which somehow helped me through my mum's death. rebahardy.substack.com/p/a-warm-bat...
I'm glad that you're here too! I don't spend much time on it, tbh, and can't quite ditch the Twitter habit, but it seems a nicer space.
This year marks sixty years since the incredible String Band was formed. This song will always be one of my favourites.

So sad to see #DavidLynch disappear from this world. I was lucky emoigh to interview him around 10 years ago and he was a true gent - charmng, courteous and respectful. We spoke about transcendental meditation, which we both practised, and he was lovely. RIP David Lynch.
This is a bit random, but it's such a good article on decision making that I thought I'd share it in case it helps anyone. psyche.co/guides/how-t...
'Not only is there a lack of climate-specific films and TV shows, but the backdrops of most of the Hollywood-created worlds on our screens lack any evidence of the climate crisis.'
'The attacks have used disinformation, wild claims, conspiracy theories and extremist culture war tropes. But absent from their critique has been any acknowledgement that climate change has played any role... despite a consensus among experts.'

Last blast of Christmas. Hope you all had a good one. ✨🎄🥂
Happy New Year, Blueskyers!

Just had an exciting idea for thriller number three. I'm feeling this.
25 years since ' Midnite Vultures' was released. I remember how this album blew me away, especially after the equally brilliant but far more introspective 'Mutations'. Th'at's what I loved about Beck - always genre-hopping, always suprrising.
