On the road for #OpenSauce! Excited to demo #tinyCore irl #OSHW
Only another thousand miles to go 💀
How we started vs how it's going.. 🔥
#tinyCore #microcontroller #esp32project #startupbusiness #progressoverperfection #progresspic #diyelectronics #OpenSourceHardware
Also, we applied to #OpenSauce... Hopefully we'll see you all there! Here's our booth drawing, and no we did NOT use #AI for this masterpiece. 😂
Oh boy.. finally found our #Bluesky password. Here's what you've missed:
- We sold through our first batch of boards!
- Ordered 100 more with revisions based on user feedback
- Published our first YouTube video
- Got registered with #OSHWA
- Revamped all of our documentation
..And a lot more!
And it stacks!! Testing out some protoHATs for the #iotaCore today, pretty excited to see what we can come up with for sensor expansions
#ESP32 #OpenSource
Late Update: We finished the preliminary #3DPrinted cases for the iotaCore! Looks a lot more professional now, could almost be a real product 🤔
All #OpenSourceHardware
We've got some exciting updates! Just finished our iotaDisplay ProtoHAT today! Here it is running a demo smartwatch interface

#BuiltWithIota
The first project built with #iotaCore! It's a long distance message box. Shake it to see your message :) Instructable coming soon...
So whether you’re a young computer scientist looking to gain #embedded hardware experience, a mechanical engineer trying to deepen your knowledge of #electronics, or an undergraduate hoping to strengthen your resume and be #AI-ready, the #iotaKit is designed for you. (8/8)
We’d also like to give a huge shoutout to #PCBWay, without whom this project wouldn’t exist. They sponsored the initial batch of prototypes, and we were beyond impressed with the quality of their #PCBs. You can order our #open-source designs directly from their website (7/8)
The EVT designs of our #HATs are still in progress, and will be announced shortly. We are also building several "starter projects" with each module, to kickstart your #EmbeddedHardware learning journey. Stay tuned, give us a follow, or join our email list to get updated on hardware progress. (6/8)
All of these projects will have #Instructables and documentation on how to build your own, and we will also be hosting weekly "Office Hours" on our Discord, where you can ask questions about projects #BuiltWithIota, and get help from real engineers. (5/8)
As part of the #iotaKit ecosystem, we will be periodically releasing #HATs (Hardware Attached to Top) with advanced sensors, such as our Brain-Computer Interface, Voice Assistant, Gas and Air-quality Monitor, Smart Home, and Smartwatch Display. All #OpenSource on our #GitHub (4/8)
On its own, the #iotaCore is an improved and open-source #ESP32 microcontroller. It features several nice-to-haves, including an SD Card, USB-C data/charging, LiPo battery management, and a built in 6DOF IMU for integrated motion tracking. (3/8)
#iotaCore is the fundamental unit of an advanced open-source hardware platform, #iotaKit, that was designed to help students and young professionals prepare for working with advanced technologies in industries like #Biotech, #BCI, #Robotics, #AI, and #Envirotech. (2/8)
We're happy to announce the #iotaCore: an #IoT development board designed to help you level up your engineering game. The iotaCore is strong enough to power your #Automation, #Agritech, #AI, and #Biosensing projects--but it's not just another #ESP32 dev kit; it's an advanced IoT ecosystem. (1/8)

It's sad that R-Pi has been hit with scope creep and is no longer an affordable option to get kids interested in science, especially in an age when compute is so cheap.
This is great! What moisture sensor are you using?
On the 19th of December we’re going to end the year with a bang and launch the first Home Assistant voice hardware 🎉 you don’t want to miss this youtube.com/live/ZgoaoTp...
