I saw a truck with a “Fuck Carney” flag. Like. Um…he’s a fiscal conservative lmao but not the bigot kind of conservative they want to co-sign their hateful trash.

Total liars and cowards right? They say anything in the last days. This will stay quiet and no doubt get back peddled if they get in.

This add is for white folk. Buddy seems to forget that 🧊 is in full force in that state. And they don’t care about how legal your vacation is.

The study, learning and teaching of polysynthetic languages is a different beast. It feels very isolating at times. Anyone out there on #langsky wanna talk shop? Specifically I’m seeking to connect with other #indigenouslanguage learners/teachers who live this everyday. No curious brain pickers.

Board structures are colonial and won’t work for our nations. The colonial state has no interest in seeing our people thrive anyway. There’s a reason they wanted to eliminate us. That reason hasn’t changed and their policies reflect that. They tokenize efforts of remorse for PR but that’s about it.

Intergenerational trauma sometimes has us putting extra pressure on ourselves for all kinds of reasons.

The best learning comes from making mistakes. Say it wrong. Say it weird. Laugh or cry, but just say it. Your silence will break your ancestors hearts more than any mistake you can ever make.

Obviously you’re all welcome to stick around and engage, I’m just giving you all a heads up that what you see here is not a going to be a steady stream of news and responses to news.

Miigwech, Nyá:wen, Thanks for following!

My focus is mostly on Indigenous language revitalization, resistance and healing intergenerational trauma. I also love posting about what brings me joy, pleasure and peace, as that is also a form of resistance.

I’m not sure why I’m getting so many American, specifically democrats (thanks for being so outspoken btw!) following me, but I thought I’d let you all know that I’m not a super political account in the mainstream sense.

Honestly, I think a large part of why this country (Canada) and the United States don’t seem to learn from history is because neither teaches it’s real history.
