Last season we tried to implement a new system under a new coach but ran into immediate trouble doing so due to availability issues in the midfield and at CB.

This year.....is different?? Or is it?

First you have the provincial fans who will never accept not bringing a top local player home regardless of circumstances.

Then there is the segment of the fanbase who will insist the club isn't trying until they see a $10 million+ signing.

Recognize the cognitive dissonance of their opinions.

The club's intentional highlighting of things like this demonstrates how a lot more though went into this choice of kit design than, "we haven't used this secondary color yet."

Who said they expect to compete this year? I've not heard them say that. Common sense says this team is building towards 2027-28 while trying to do as well as possible in the meantime.
