+ a lot of the books being suggested (again, in terms of books for actual children to read) are by authors who are currently under constant attack by the aggressive book banning that's been ramping up over the last few years. And those authors will likely not receive a sliver of support HP gets.
So, a reason I keep sharing alterna-reads to HP is bc I'm not talking to superfan adults, I'm talking to parents/teachers/librarians who are making book purchasing choices for kids -- I really think it's a needed step in killing the cyclical support this series gets
