I agree with needing to skill people up, and our ongoing need for more skilled folks. it was mostly a response to the “we need alpha devs that can really grind out code because we’re going to grind them into dust just to ship more product of dubious quality” vibe that is everywhere in tech.
I feel like there is a lot of “your failure to plan != my emergency here”. It’s like saying “we need a lot more super ace pilots that can land overloaded jets that are out of fuel safely at airports that are closed due to weather”
Or, you know we could invest in not letting it get to that point.
Amazing that a company that gained so much from America’s welcoming immigration policies can turn around and throw that all away to whore for the worst administration in American history.

After 20 years in IT, it amazes me that there is all this AI money for a way to have machines write more communications. A two sentence email is already one sentence too long. People literally only read the first sentence and then <waves hands>.
