Sometimes it takes me a few minutes to really understand why the scene works, which is hella weird cause, I wrote the scene? I think its a pattern recognition thing or something. Like I see stuff that works and take inspiration from it, but dont fully get why it works until thinking on it later

Writing is weird as hell sometimes. Dunno if this is just a me thing, but sometimes I'll write a scene and think its good, then come back later and second guess it. Not because its like, bad work, but because I dont fully *get* what I just wrote.
