Excited to share that I accepted an offer for a tenure track position in the school of social work at Rutgers University. thank you to my family, friends and mentors. As well as all the other programs who expressed interest in me! Now to finish this dissertation! #RutgersSSW

4/4 I will miss my time as a student and all the work and beautiful collaborations that developed over the years. But now to make the toughest decision I’ve had to as a doc student stay tuned!!!

3/4 To serving as two years as the student-director-at-large on the SSWR board of directors representing my fellow student colleagues voices around the country. and to presenting countless of presentation and workshops including a brief and brilliant which I’m so proud of.

2/4 From serving as a Doctoral Volunteer Coordinator every year I’ve been a student! Helping to manage 100s of student volunteers who make the wheels on the conference go round!

1/4 A thread: I’m Back in freezing cold Chicago and reflecting on how I just attended my final @SSWR2025 conference as a doctoral student! Since i entered my doctoral studies I have done and contributed so much to SSWR.
