I think it's safe to assume that Microsoft's AI isn't going to create Skynet given the design suggestions from PowerPoint. I can't tell which is a worse suggestion, Mount Rushmore or a Saturn V rocket.

I have loved my time in the History Department at LSU, but it has been physically, emotionally, and financially too taxing to be based 1,500 miles away from my elderly and increasingly frail father, who I help to care for. Being in New Hampshire will significantly lessen those burdens.

Foreign Aid and State Building in Interwar Romania: In Quest of an Ideal It is no secret that the Peripheral Histories? editorial team is comprised of a few historians of humanitarianism who are rather enthusiastic about drawing upon the archives of international organisations to write new histories of Eastern Europe, the Russian Empire, and the Soviet Union. Some of our readers may remember that we included the collections of the ICRC archives and library back in our archives-focused series in summer 2023. I failed at the local mall Barnes and Noble yesterday, but my brother succeeded at the one in Manhattan. He was super excited to run there on his way home from work yesterday. Holding a paper copy of the review of my book is wild. I can't wait to bring a copy to my Dad today.
