Not sure if itโs the same for Heidi, but as he got older LJ became ever more attached to his tennis balls - in his later years he lived nothing more than carrying one around with him. Iโm sure he had his reasons ๐ค๐
Border terrier lying down with his front legs out in front of him, with a red rubber ball balanced on them.
Sneaky little photo of Little Joe ๐ with his favourite ball, spiky on the outside but lovely & soft for carrying around, for this weekโs #TerrierTuesday. Quite a serious look from the little man, but then guarding your favourite ball is a serious business ๐

There is now a theme on the first Tuesday of each month which I announce at @misheleneous.bsky.social on the Sunday night beforehand. All other weeks post as you wish

I donโt know what to say, but know exactly how you feel - they leave such a hole.
Sorry to hear that & hope the walk helps, even if only a little x
That face, such a handsome boy. Hope youโre doing as well as you can be.

A very young Little Joe ๐ (still a bit of dark hair on his muzzle!) making the most of some April sun, for this weekโs #TerrierTuesday

So enjoyed seeing them flying around, then hovering & diving. Stunning.
Glorious day & though the views from Hampsfell into the South Lakes not quite as stunning as usual due to the hazy cloud, more than made up for by the chorus from the skylarks.
List of birds heard this morning, from the Merlin app.
The benefits of a week off from work, a more leisurely early morning walk in the woods at the bottom of #ArnsideKnott & a chance to hear more from the local bird life.
Such a lovely photo & so nice to see Mario on #TerrierTuesday. Thinking of you all x
Border terrier sat half way up a wooden stile.
Unfortunately I donโt have any #DogsOnLogs pictures of Little Joe ๐, so hereโs one of him on a stile (a reworked log ๐ค๐) giving me a BT head tilt for this weekโs #TerrierTuesday

Really not the day to be sat in front of a screen working, but still appreciate the good fortune of being able to take a walk round before work on a perfect spring day.

Message from the Strava AI about my run last night. Not sure if itโs telling me itโs faulty, or if itโs judging me ๐ค
Quite right ๐
Definitely; BTs make tough but fair supervisors ๐๐
Touch down! YW lands on the nest just before dark last night. He and Blue 35 first nested here in 2013 with first chicks in 2014. Since then they have fledged 32 chicks. He'll be 18 this year and still going strong.

Mark of a good foreman, he always thought it was treat/break time ๐๐
Border terrier sat down by a freshly painted raised bed in the garden.
Later March has been the time to get things sorted out in the garden. Little Joe ๐ was always more foreman than worker, but a very fair boss! #TerrierTuesday
So sorry for your loss. Thinking of you x
Just too short. Hang on, wait a minute (or 13) โฆ youtu.be/hnVldyHRcjU?...

A slightly schizophrenic #FellFoot at this morningโs #parkrun: all the plants convinced itโs spring, all the runners feeling like it was winter in the Baltic winds! ๐ฅถ
