And my amazing research assistent Pablo Sprunken presented the results of the NWO XS project on RNA-templated repair in iPSCs and neurons! I am so happy we could do this project together, he really helped bringing it to the next level!

Also, my wonderful MSc student Deniz Gülyurt presented how she explored the feasibility of genetic therapy for SYNGAP1-related syndrome. She generated neural progenitor cells, astrocytes and neurons from iPSCS, providing insight into SYNGAP1 splicing and consequences of SYNGAP1 haploinsufficiency

Together with Dr. Brooke LaTour, I organized a session on DNA damage and repair in neurodevelopment and disease at the Dutch Neuroscience Meeting last month! Dr. Matthew Ellis gave a great keynote lecture on micronuclei in neurodegeneration. We enjoyed the great talks and discussion!
