The President likes to claim tariffs on foreign goods have been great for folks. But that’s not what tariffs actually are. They’re an unnecessary tax we all pay. Congress has had its power to levy tariffs stripped by the President and we need a Congress that is willing to stand up.

I’m sorry, but Meta needing literal nuclear power to keep its AI going is just insane. I know it makes me sound like a Luddite or a boomer but this AI push needs to stop. Our country, our schools, and our Congress/laws sure as hell aren’t ready for it. Not to mention the environmental impact.
The actions in Venezuela over the weekend raises a lot of questions and rightfully so. But, the one that I have is, how does this help lower costs for folks? How does this make life more affordable? That’s my big question. We need to keep our eye on the ball.
