Yes, next Tuesday for you. It's early Wednesday morning for me.
We're reading Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.

Speaking of Douglas Adams, will you be joining #FurryTails #FurryReads later this month as we discuss Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency?
He's paraphrasing there. But he's not wrong. And as long as the idea gets transferred into people's brains, I really don't care who they believe. Douglas Adams is just as good an authority as the one who voiced the idea originally.
Fall/winter has come to our house. We've put the heavy comforter on the bed and the cozy blankets have come out of hibernation. Tonight Human made one of her winter classic dinners...cream of cheese soup and garlic bread.
And we've gotten back to cozy nights in bed reading.
We do have a stuffed fox hunter...she's a black fox in a classic hunting dress -- boots, skirt, red jacket, and black hat. Human's great uncle thought she was hilarious and got her to sit on a bookshelf in his house. When great-aunt passed, Human had to have her.
To be fair, my experience with fox hunting is almost solely in Rita Mae Brown's Sister Jane Arnold mysteries and the movie The List of Adrian Messenger.
But I understand *some* hunt clubs in areas of Virginia are a bit more responsible when it comes to land and wildlife management.
Could they not just chase the fox to ground the way they do in parts of Virginia? Where the goal is not to catch/kill it, but just chase the fox over the course?
But I think fox "hunting" is very different in the US South than it is in the UK.
I really think Jeopardy was better when there was a 5-Day limit for Champions.
Steaming apps should let you pick how many episodes you want to watch at a time and then stop autoplay after that many.
Does anyone else hold their breath for a few moments during the space launches?

Human once got the box of pears from Harry & David for Christmas and four of the 12 were in gold foil. She brought the box to the office kitchen for others to enjoy so we never did find out what kind of pears they were. 😂 #FurryTails #FurryReaders
Thank you everyone for coming to this month's #FurryTails #FurryReaders discussion. Next month we have something a bit different. We'll be discussing Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency by Douglas Adams. Hope to see you all there for that.
We usually see Bosc and Asian pears at the grocery. Baskets of pears are also a popular Christmas gift in the US, but I don't know what kind of pears are used. Some of them come wrapped in gold foil...fancy pears! #FurryTails #FurryReaders
She thinks guides for the hopeless English-speakers might help.
But of course, it could be that we could just do a better job with foreign language education...or education in general. #FurryTails #FurryReaders
They are both interesting and a bit intimidating. Human has been to couple, but stuck to the things she could identify by sight because the language barrier made other things difficult to figure out. #FurryTails #FurryReaders
And when there are unusual fruits, it's often expensive so we're unwilling to take a risk. We were given a dragon fruit, which is another unusual fruit and a very good one. We actually made a cake & icing with it! #FurryTails #FurryReaders
We have canned lychee here. Fresh fruit is more limited in our groceries than in the US, and the US selection isn't always that great. We sometimes have fresh persimmons, but usually it's mainly apples, pears, oranges, grapes, strawberries and bananas. #FurryTails #FurryReaders
That's the thing about fruit. Sometimes you get them perfectly ripe and they are fabulous, but it's hard to get that perfect point again. I totally understand people who have issues with consistency in fruit. #FurryTails #FurryReaders
I kind of liked the way the author didn't really tell that part of the story. #FurryTails #FurryReaders
We had a lychee virgin mojito in January and we found we really like it as well. Sometimes it just takes being exposed to the fruit in different ways to discover how much you enjoy them. #FurryTails #FurryReaders
There was also the little reference to the picture of his sister, which makes you wonder about Cassandra. #FurryTails #FurryReaders
I agree. I think my biggest issue with fresh pears is the texture, which I think should be like apple and it isn't really. But if you cook them, like poached pears, or juice them for juice or cider, I really do enjoy the flavor. #FurryTails #FurryReaders
We discovered guava on an early cruise in the juice selection. And since, it's been a real treat. Some tropical fruit salad mixed have guava and papaya in them and we really enjoy them, but have actually never seen the whole fruit fresh. #FurryTails #FurryReaders
We find pear cider to be a bit drier than apple, which can be welcome because some apple ciders are just too sweet. We've only seen lime mixed with Strawberry in some ciders, but even those are likely to be apple or pear based, with other flavors added. #FurryTails #FurryReaders
We just discovered guava cider, which is very nice too -- a perfect summer treat. #FurryTails #FurryReaders
Indeed. Usually authors save this kind of unusual timeline for last books. #FurryTails #FurryReaders
