Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you're off to a great start and have a productive week. I'm getting a little bit of a later start, but still #crossstitching for the American Cancer Society fundraiser I'm running for the month of April. Follow my progress at: www.facebook.com/donate/36646...
Check out my post on Ko-Fi for more information about these projects (including pattern links) as well as the story behind getting a cross-stitch commission.

Happy #WIPWednesday everyone! What creative things have you all been working on? I'd love to see them!
I've been working on a cross-stitch commission (still awed that someone liked my personal project enough to ask,) and as always... socks when Eli decides I absolutely *must* be in the bedroom.
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you have a great and productive week! Starting on April 1st, I'm participating in the American Cancer Society's "Stitching Every Day" challenge - a Facebook Fundraiser for the ACS's various programs. Check out my page for updates: www.facebook.com/donate/36646...

Happy Monday, Everyone~! I hope this final week of February starts off great and you have a very productive week.
What plans do you have for the week?
It's been such a low energy week... what about for you all? Have you managed to be productive?

It's taken several days, but my new dice bag is nearing completion!

A circle of knitted fabric in a rich variety of colors (orange, peacock blue, brown and goldenrod) with the beginnings of a cross-hatch texture starting to appear.
Had a great stream, met a new potential friend, and got some progress done on my Beyond the Walls #knitting pattern design. What have you all accomplished thus far today?
Join me at 1 p.m. CST at www.twitch.tv/lyndicat for some #knitting adventures and random stories!
Happy Monday, Everyone! I wish I had something clever to tell you, but since I don't, I'll settle for have a great and productive week!
Now it's your turn, what line have you heard or read that has stuck with you and why? 3/3
They work because both (especially together)say, it's okay to be imperfect. Imperfection is human. Done is better than perfect.
Today I apply it most in considering whether a #crochet or #knit mistake *really* needs to be frogged or if I can just let it go and move on toward finishing the piece. 2/3
One quote I keep coming back to, and its cousin, is: Perfection is the enemy of Done. (Its cousin is "Practice makes Progress.")
I first heard its cousin from a social worker during a mental health hospitalization and came up with it years later to combat my toxic perfectionism. 1/3
He is adorable, that's why I put up with his demands. 🤣

His royal majesty, Eli, has demanded my presence in the bed at the earliest time ever: half past 3 in the afternoon. Time for sock #knitting on my bed with a sleepy puppy!
Progress report:
What I did yesterday: Completed 3 rows of knitting on my Escape of the Phoenix project.
What felt harder than expected: Not taking a nap for more energy.
What I’ll adjust today: Aim for 4 rows (and no naps!)
Where are you at? Please share, I'd love to hear about it!
Join me for #knit shenanigans at 1 p.m. CST on my #Twitch channel (www.twitch.tv/lyndicat). Projected stream length is two hours-depends on my physical symptoms behaving themselves. Hope to see you there!

Happy #WIPWednesday, Everyone! I'd love to see your current WIPs, be they #fibercrafts, #writing, or any other #creative thing. Share pictures, excerpts, or whatever you like (so long as it's TOS-friendly.) Check out ko-fi.com/post/From-th... for what my doggo, Eli has to do with my sock knitting.
Thank you! I'm enjoying working on it, and I love how the beads pop.
Purple knitted fabric with red beads scattered evenly throughout.
Progress from today's stream (see the two bead rows on the outer edge? That was what we accomplished!) I also survived my interchangeable needles coming unconnected mid-row... with some creative cursing: www.twitch.tv/lyndicat/cli...

Happy Monday, Everyone! I hope you have a great start to your week! What crafty things do you have planned? I'm plugging away at my Escape of the Phoenix project.

Happy #WIPWednesday, Everyone! What #creative things have you been working on? Share some pictures (#yarncrafts, #woodworking, #needlework, etc.,) I'd love to see them. I've been working on what I call my Escape of the Phoenix project. The phoenix is done, and I'm onto the rest of the shawl.

Happy Monday, Everyone! Wishing you all a great and productive week! What do you feel is your most important task this week?
Mine is getting prepped for my D&D session with my nephew this weekend. He's been looking forward to getting going again (haven't played since the summer) so can't disappoint!
It's looking good so far! I wish you luck and perseverance!
Wow! So much color and intricate stitching.
So tiny! Looks great. Do you enjoy making tiny embroidery or did you find it to be a pain?
