It’s a really slow slow burn. I mean the thrilling part of the story and pacing isn’t until almost 1 hr and 20 ish minutes in. I can see why. Believe me the first time I saw this I was the same. This time around I’m somewhat enjoying it a bit more. If it weren’t for #hatm I wouldn’t watch it again.

I think Shrinking has been his best acting. Like award worthy style. #hatm

So far it’s only 10 times a Director has had 2 films be nominated for Best Picture in the same year. Last one was in 2000 with Steven Soderbergh (Traffic and Erin Brockovich). Quite a feat. Also seems stressful. #hatm

Mr. John Cazale is the only actor to appear in 5 Best Picture films while also only appearing in 5 total films due to his untimely death. Dude was 5 for 5. A record that probably won’t be topped. #hatm

I liked that documentary. The 70s is generally considered the greatest decade of movies. #hatm

Made it for tonight’s screening of The Conversation! While I’m not a huge fan of this film it is worth reevaluating especially since I’ll be missing the next 3 weeks for this group. #hatm #filmsky #movies #films

I do recommend watching the sequel when you get the chance. It’s solid. Not as good as this one but worth the watch.
