Ah interesting. Thanks for the information.

As a Belgian, TIL.
I've been a PHP dev for almost 20 years and I never even used PEAR. It was super annoying to set it up. So downloading classes from sites like phpclasses.org was most of the time the best way.
Wow, it's so painful to see some people reacting to free and opensource software. If it's free accept it as it is and if you don't like then don't use it and do not start demanding in a aggressive way...
True. I have nothing against paywalled articles but clicking on an article to find out it's paywalled is incredibly bad UX.
Casey's videos are always amazing to watch. The videography is just perfect ๐.
Let's go Belgians!
The article is reporting that about 1.1m Belgians left X (which is about 30%). Even Bluesky was mentioned as an alternative ๐.

Same. Thanks to Jeffrey Way who talked about it in his course. Never looked back ๐.
Oh wow ๐ฒ
New blog post: the State of #PHP 2024

Can relate ๐
Well here in Belgium IPv6 has been going strong for a long time. Because providers have exhausted their IPv4 addresses for a while now. Of course in the enterprise world it's a different story altogether...

Video hosting is expensive, so I guess that's the reason why they haven't increased the limit.
And then there is the other way like in PhpStorm.
Errors are proof that you're coding. ๐
And there you go ๐.
And where is @pinkary.bsky.social in the images?
But which is the first one of the day ๐ค?
Quote of the day from our CIO: "AI is everything and nothing". Truer words haven't been said imho ๐.
So one of the biggest news outlets in #Belgium namely #vrtnws finally created a news article about #BlueSky. Let's see if Belgians will finally join.

Not a really new user. But the dev community and just a better environment than Twitter.
True! And just build what you need. So then you already have 1 user and it's already worth it ๐.

For everyone reading this message. I'm not an active poster. So don't expect much when you follow. The reason why is because I overthink all my posts even this one. But anyways, hi all to those who follow ๐.
open source tip: don't sleep on a good readme. it's the first thing people see. make it count. ๐๏ธ
Absolutely ๐
It has improved a lot. I find myself a lot more on the Discover tab. While in the beginning I rarely went there because it was so uninteresting to me.
Indeed! Really looking forward to using it ๐.
Wow, that design looks amazing ๐คฉ
So happy to see Bluesky getting traction in the dev community. Maybe the day will come after all that I can ditch the bird app.
And that's why I love Bluesky. Cause I have 3 Mastodon accounts and I use none of them because it's so weird. And when I first heard of the federation idea of Mastodon I thought it would mean I could easily setup my own personal federation, but spoiler alert it isn't.
