An agent’s guide to DEAD GODS RISING, queer YA dark fantasy & cosmic horror

In 2013, in the town of Blackwater Cove, Washington, a local game studio launched Dead Gods Rising—a groundbreaking horror MMORPG that blurred the line between game and reality. Then its players started disappearing. Sixteen-year-old town favorite, Atlas Calloway, was the first. Two more followed. Eventually, a developer was arrested, and the servers went dark. But the disappearances didn’t stop. Two years later, Lark Calloway can’t escape her brother—his shadow constantly reminds her she’ll never be enough.
