hi @peterjcasey.bsky.social I finished venture into the (un)known a few days ago in #vrchat and wanted to say holy SHIT man the animations for the entire finale, especially that vrrat, were insanely good. kudos to you and whoever else worked on it!

ChatGPT is great for getting over the terminology barrier and recontextulizing concepts into a manner my brain can comprehend.

Man.. the way business people have been handling vr has been very disappointing over the years.

As far as 2D animators go, you can try to compartmentalized them.
Some are good at subtle acting, others are good at body mechanics.
Identify the ones that handle 3d space in 2D well.

Give less experienced animators static poses.

But mix it up every now and then.

Your dog is multiplying. If this happened after getting it wet I do not recommend feeding it after midnight.

I found all the characters super fun.
And the ending where its just "Love!" With sparkles was the cherry on top of the cake for me.

This film sets cranks it up to 11 on scene one then somehow ends on a 13.

Timing of release was important factor here.

Your episode was up against all the other indie shorts being released in relatively short time.
Spindlehorse, glitch, flashgitz all dropped new episodes seemingly around the same week.

Let me clarify: im not surprised a mentally unwell person (the assassin) chose to fixate on Charlie because of Charlie's rhetoric. I highly disagreed with everything Charlie stood for.

But I'm disgusted and horrified that the assination actually happened.
