I have my own reasonings for the typings I choose for both of them.
Gro being dark and Sylvian being psychic felt self explanatory.
As for the other types :

-Sylvian is Water because water symbolizes rebirth and healing
-Gro-Goroth is Water because dead bodies lie beneath the soil

Gro-Goroth and Sylvian as Pokémon ! This was beamed into my mind as I was listening to ORAS ost and decided to do something about it :]
