Are you going to pay for the income I would lose by deleting those platforms? I don't think so because Instagram is my main platform, and paid partnerships I post there account for 80% of my income.

We’ve still got to take action to prevent further damage from his administration, but isn’t it wild that he’s helping other countries commit more to climate action?
(Folks on Facebook are already sending me threats because of this video, so that means I must be doing something right!)
In a first last month, renewables supplied more power to the U.S. than natural gas, a milestone in the shift to clean energy.
It’s #EarthMonth, and I promise you there’s still hope for a better future!

It's wild that this is the only platform that enjoyed this video, but good to know that y'all enjoy nature-based solutions because I do as well!
Sea otters are both adorable and critical to coastal ecosystems!
As someone who lives in a region with thousands of abandoned coal mines, this is fantastic news!
Good morning with good news: First turbine is installed at the 924 MW Sunrise Wind New York offshore wind farm!
Sunrise Wind will generate first power in 2026 and be fully operational in 2027. It has 84 11-MW turbines.
Sunrise Wind wins. Trump lost!

Shoutout to Rice University for their researchers bringing us one step closer to addressing #PFAS pollution!

I think so! If I fly, I have no choice but to leave from a tiny airport and fly into a hub. Those flights never last more than 45 min, so they could easily be electric in the future!
(Obviously I want more public transit too and would take that over flying if it was available in my area)
UK's Renewables Output Hits Record, Helping to Blunt Iran Shock.
Solar generation reached roughly 10 GW, just below a record set in July last year, while wind output climbed to almost 24 GWs, a new high."
Oil/gas again prove they endanger economies.

If you constantly negatively respond to my content, you will be blocked moving forward.
The endless unconstructive criticism of my work is destroying my mental health and making me not want to produce content anymore.
So please be kind or else I’m going to have to find another job.
I don't know about y'all, but I love watching climate solutions go from being theorized to being commercially viable.
If you’re telling people not to attend protests yet aren’t offering alternatives for action, you’re part of the problem!
We shouldn’t be discouraging action at a time like this — especially when protests are crucial to building coalition in conservative and rural areas.
Is there a term for being envious of other countries expanding and modernizing their passenger rail infrastructure??
Because whatever it is, I have it as an American who lives just a few blocks away from an old passenger rail station that is now a burger restaurant..
Don’t want more data centers?
Join me in demanding that Congress pass a national moratorium on data centers at the link in the replies.
Our communities and our planet deserve better.

How I look while watching the world finally realize that relying on fossil fuels, especially during times of conflict, is actually bad for the economy because it means the grip the fossil fuel industry has on the world is starting to unravel right before my very eyes:
Just a heads up that young people won't engage with your scientific research or activism campaigns if you use generative AI images and videos.
They probably won't trust you or your organization moving forward ether, so hire a creative like the good ol' days or don't use any graphics at all.
Need a bit of good news to end the work week? I cover economic growth spurred by climate solutions in China, legacy PFAS levels declining in North Atlantic Pilot whales, and more!
The additional cost of ONE fossil fuel price spike on the scale of 2022 = the ENTIRE COST of Net Zero by 2050. We get precisely nothing in return for the first cost, and a whole new, more secure and cheaper energy system from the second one.

It's been interesting to watch major media outlets put their climate reporting behind a paywall while other articles are not.
I understand the financial reasoning but worry about its overall impact. Climate hushing is bad enough as is; this is only going to make it worse.
It’s almost like collaborating peacefully to build clean energy projects (and not fighting wars over fossil fuels) is the future.

Reverend Jesse Jackson called on each of us to be heralds of change, to be messengers of hope; to step forward and say “Send me” wherever we have a chance to make an impact.
How fortunate we were that Jesse Jackson answered that call. What a great debt we owe to him.
Exactlyyyyy
Beware of bad actor messaging campaigns aimed to get you to not take action. They are popping up on my feed here more often.
One just said that “voting truly is the opiate of the masses,” as if voting isn’t the bare minimum way we should engage in our democracy.
Please keep voting 🙏
Yeah, but for a climate journalist to write an op-ed without talking to activists and then claim we aren’t doing anything is just straight up unprofessional.. even in times of fascism..
The case for #cleanenergy gets better by the day.
Has anyone had luck with using bentonite clay as a plastic-free pond liner?
I've used it to patch holes in landfill liners for years, and I can't believe I didn't consider it sooner for my backyard wildlife pond design.
