I'm reliant upon PIP as it is the only way I can afford to get the help I need. There must be so many others like me. Glad I didn't vote for fake Labour - not democratic socialist values but more like fascist.

Immensely significant - and worrying.
Totally utterly completely indefensible
Repost if you agree 🔄🌍
Protestors, if you suspect there are agitators present, please just sit down on the ground the is will show who is causing the violence.
Apparently, this day just happens to be the 'man baby's'birthday. My USA friends also object to this too as it's costing them $$$$$$
Martin Lewis’ charity has warned that Labour’s changes to the Personal Independence Payment (PIP), a key benefit for individuals with long-term health conditions or disabilities, will have a “catastrophic impact”

Absolutely - the nastier than the Tory party are leaving the door wide open for Reform. We urgently need a new genuinely democratic socialist party to rise up and present a real alternative but where is it? Rumours abound but nothing ever comes to fruition.
Reform UK’s Richard Tice says it’s ‘absolute garbage’ to say human activities are the main cause of climate change
Heaven help us
This is a very interesting and thought provoking read. Please read the article if you can. Why was Russian interference in Brexit never fully investigated. What is Starmer's aganda in cosying up to Trump rather than closer ties with the EU? eu-rope.ideasoneurope.eu/2025/02/15/h...
So, Starmer and his more Tory than Tories govt are attacking the vulnerable to plug the alleged hole in public finances. Now this: bylinetimes.com/2025/02/04/k...
I could give the reasons why this is true but not allowed enough space on here to do so. Suffice it to say, they really are the even nastier than the Tory party.
Some of you may recall that I posted on here about losing the Daily Living Component of PIP. I asked for a Mandatory Reconsideration. Good news - I got it back today!#disability
The legendery Dennis Skinner whose birthday was yesterday but I somehow missed it. Never a truer word spoken about Thatcher and why the UK is broken as it is today.
I so hope that this is true as we really do need this badly. The time is well past ripe for it.
I totally agree. Streeting is making use of private health care apparently to reduce the NHS waiting list. Those companies will be making a vast profit. It won't stop there.
When the likes of Nutty Nigel or Tommy Ten-names rile up the knuckledraggers, it usually ends in death threats and angry mobs, something Starmer was quick to point out more than once. These are the actions of a weak and cowardly man and more than prove Starmer is as right-wing as one could get.
Why exactly is Starmer stalling on gaining us closer ties to the EU who were once our largest trading partner? He is under pressure from MPs to forge ahead. Instead, he's brown nosing Trump for a trade deal. We all know that Trump will want to get his grubby mits on the NHS. NO WAY.
Can't wait for Anthony Part 2. I'm now firmly entrenched in the 1920s and need to get out! Discovered new author but need a change!
I love Julia's novels - if you're into Diana Gabaldon's 'Outlander' series, see Diana's endorsement below. You won't be disappointed.
Just in case you were wondering about who owns Blue Sky - here's some background. Have read that employees have shares and also Blue Sky also donate to charity.https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8dm0ljg4y6o
Hugh Grant has called for a new criminal investigation into Rupert Murdoch’s News Group Newspapers after Prince Harry's settlement. Is it time to put Piers Morgan on trial?
With Nigel Farage and Reform UK again calling for the UK to leave the European Convention on Human Rights here is a reminder of why joining Russia and Belarus as the only European countries outside the ECHR is a very very very bad idea

Bishop Mariann Budde spoke truth to evil and Trump did not like it. Now he is "demanding" an apology?
Is anyone here in the UK feeling better off under the government (fake Labour) who elected on the mandate of 'change'? Here's why:
