The Israel and Gaza War, the Southport Murders and Riots & Grooming Concerns have created a surge in anti-Muslim Hate Cases Reported to Tell MAMA from 2023-2024.

I worked at Lambeth Council for 3 years between 2013-2016.

Sadly they deleted my role during the restructure of the council in 2016 and much of the work I was doing to tackle hate crime in the borough was lost.

I loved working in Lambeth, still organise the anniversary event for Brixton 17th April

10 years ago, out with the Lambeth Hate Crime Stall (which I created) whilst working for Lambeth Council as their Hate Crime Prevention Coordinator.

I loved touring Lambeth's Libraries with the stall, talking to people about their experiences and encouraging them to seek advice and support.

Pleased my Bluesky profiles have been unblocked by the moderation team.

Now I can start encouraging our followers on X to move over and support us here.

My feet wearing two non-matching socks. Symbolising me and my partner who are currently separated from each other as he recovers from a stroke and I am unable to visit him.

My feet - with my sexy new black boot on to protect my healing left leg, whilst wearing a standard trainer on my other foot.

Yay the odd socks are finally back.

For those that don't know my partner N had a stroke the week before our 5th anniversary back in September.

Like a pair of socks we have been separated from each other - so until we are reunited I am wearing odd socks and wishing him better.

The leg cover I had to wear when I was showering to keep my caste dry, looks a bit like a huge condom.

Good to finally get the cast off & be able to shower without what looks like a leg condom.

Ankle swollen, bruised & the skin is a bit dry so I need to pamper it until it heals.

Want to get a hair and beard trim but will need to wait a few more weeks until I can safely venture out.
