What unites Fuentes and Omar is zero-sum thinking. If you believe wealth is extracted rather than created - that someone's gain is always someone else's loss - then Jewish success becomes, by definition, Jewish theft. The math is simple and the conclusion is inevitable. What you cannot do, inside this framework, is ask the question Rudiger Huzmann asked in 1084: what did they build, and how can I get some of that, too? The corollary of this point is that antisemitism is a leading indicator of despair. Jew hatred is correlated to a sense that the system is rigged and that the only thing you can do to escape the permanent underclass is lever up on Bitcoin. Antisemitic thinking runs the logic exactly backwards. It sees Jewish success as evidence of conspiracy rather than evidence of capability. It imagines that the way to get what Jews have is to take it from Jews, rather than to learn what Jews learned and build what Jews built. This is not just morally wrong. It is strategically flawed. It is exactly the move that left Lavan with nothing Zero-sum thinking is a sign of low agency. If you believe the economy is a fixed pie, then someone else's slice is your loss, and resentment is rational. If you understand that value is created - that a trading network makes everyone in it richer, that a new market expands the total rather than redistributing it — then the sight of someone else's success becomes information, not threat. The question shifts from what did they take from me to what did they figure out that I haven't yet. It is not coincidental that those on the far left and far right both lack agency, bathe themselves in victimhood, and blame a cabal of Jews for their problems.

I am sick and tired of the “I’m not antisemitic I just hate Netanayahu crowd or the I just hate Israel’s aggression crowd” Why? Because they do not dislike Netanyahu because of his actual policies. They do not disagree with his judicial reform proposals, or his financial / economic policies, or his social services policies or even his policies concerning the re-population of Judea and Samaria because they know nothing about these policies. No. What they oppose Israel defending itself from attacks by Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, Iran and others. They are offended by the idea that Israel gets to shoot back when it is attacked and they blame Netanyahu and attribute to him magical, Svengali type powers. I really do not like Netanyahu. but I dislike him for his actual policies and his corruption, not for the fact that Israel is forced to defend itself every day from attacks both physical and political. There is a word for those who object to Israel and only Israel from being able to defend itself.
