Europe Boulevard, Birkenhead, looking very Spring-like, yesterday.
There's a free family festival on Trafalgar Square today to celebrate the patron saint of England: St George. All are welcome, except dragons.

She leaves in June after her children finish the school year. I will miss her.
Who knows? It's all rather mysterious. Drew is charmingly insane but Tony is a thinker. He has many interesting thoughts and he's here to tell you ALL of them.

Bearly Thursday and I'm so ready for the weekend.
A dramatic coastal view framed by the dark, textured arch of a weathered tree. From the shadows of a pine forest floor, the eye is led through a natural wooden "window" toward a sun-drenched Oregon coastline. Hazy, evergreen-covered cliffs recede into a misty horizon, meeting a rugged shore of tide pools and jagged rocks under a soft, bright sky. The scene balances the intimate, earthy detail of mossy bark in the foreground with the vast, airy scale of the Pacific Northwest wilderness.
Nature's been doing the whole frame within a frame thing longer than photographers have, but I thought this natural window on the Oregon coast really tied the room together.

I am so grateful for the outpouring of support from Californians across this state.
This is what a grassroots movement looks like. Real people showing up because they believe California deserves better.
I believe that too. And I am ready to fight for it.

Farm worker bent over harvesting strawberries
"Pablo" is harvesting strawberries in Salinas, CA. He shares, "It is very tiring work—spending eight hours bent over like this working at a very fast pace. But it's honest work that feeds my family." #WeFeedYou
Say hi to my cousins. I have more than I could ever count so odds are you're standing next to one of them right now.
The show continued until till near dark! Bright oranges, yellows, bits of red and finally lavender. Birds were busy through the day! Emptying feeder twice. New day filled with clouds and bluebell blue skies. Another day in the books.

Also his hair. Different now but just as wondrous as when he was a young lad.
And if you’d spend a 2nd immersive interlude with me, here’s the rainswept shore of the Pacific, with the breakers crashing in below.
One small patch of blue sky amid grey rainclouds over the green headland and grey sea.
This was the point between downpours where I could hear three generations of my family’s voices remarking in sarcastic union, “It’s getting brighter!” — every one of us as drenched as an angry puffin.
