For the last few days I’ve been furiously sanding these Grödnertal inspired Maggies. There will be around 20 of them! Some Ballet dancers and also some Flapper dancers too!

I once read someone saying ‘There are dolls so lifelike that they develop a soul and become haunted. However, if they’re well cared for, why should you be afraid?’
Aka same with animals. Why would a doll/puppy want to hurt you if you become their favorite thing in the world? 😉

So sorry to hear that. I’ve been through similar, apparently after covid I lost the ability to metabolize certain vitamins. I’m on meds now which have helped me a lot. If it makes you feel a bit more at ease, the liver is the only organ able to regenerate on its own!! Take care and you’ll be okay🤍

Maybe because they know they’re in good hands? That I will try my best to make them shine again, while respecting their origin and personality? Maybe it’s the same why wild animals approach me looking for help while they would bit others? All I want to do is help. And they know.

I once heard someone saying ‘yes, some dolls can be lifelike in the sense they invite a soul to reside in them. However, if they’re well cared for, why would you be scared of them?’

And that has stuck with me. I’ve never been afraid of a doll, no matter how lifelike or ‘haunted’ it may be.

She’s been successfully cleaned, woth the utmost care to preserve the gofun polish and color. No more soot and grime and her hair is brushed and shiny again. She’s right out the onsen!
Now, to get her a lovely kimono!

I swear I can see her smiling again…

That makes me really happy to hear!! I always thought that, being that Jenova can shapeshift, she/they? would adopt Lucrecia’s likeness to further convince Sephiroth it was his mother. If they made canon they look alike, it confirms the crazy theory of 10yr old me 😂 Jenova is the true villain!!

That’s actually a very interesting point, and does Sephiroth vagely resemble Lucrecia too? I only played the OG so I’m not too versed on how modern graphics look.

I think a lot of this people who skip parts aren’t really interested in reading, but just want to be able to mark ‘Read’ on their goodreads list and brag they “read” 30 books a month. I’ve even caught people leaving a review after only reading the back cover (it was a trap!). Like c’mon…
