first day back at work today after our holiday and I feel like I need another two weeks off to recover from that shift.

I have crafted the beefiest sorcerer for this short, high-level campaign we're starting. multiclassed in bard to get a few levels with a d8 hit dice and light armour proficiency, beasthide shifter to get that temp HP and AC boost, and a +4 CON modifier. bassist biker werewolf ftw.

😂 honestly, if that's the explanation I'd be delighted. I can only think they were out of cans of pop to give us but felt they had to give us *something*

there's a pizza place near us that does gluten free pizzas so we usually end up ordering from them when we come back from holidays. sometimes they'll give us a free can of pop, but today they gave us... two pop tarts. I am... so baffled.

we're visiting alex atm and his friend who lives locally is our gm for pathfinder so we got to have an in person session! I haven't played a ttrpg in person since like 2017, so that was really fun.

watching the 2009 'emma' adaptation, alex was talking about how mrs elton exists to make emma more likeable by showing how much worse she could be, and my brain immediately went "oh so she's mason verger".

Foxes in Japanese folklore, known as kitsune, can shape-shift and form bonds with humans. Some act as protectors, others as clever tricksters. #MythologyMonday

it is a true delight to describe an npc pulling a fun trick during combat and have your players go "oh I'm stealing that".

I dunno I think "were Harry Potter books good" is a completely irrelevant question to the moment. like, you don't need to avoid them because they're artistically bad, you need to avoid them because there are concrete, specific ways that interacting with them funds Nazi stuff

Look I know it’s fashionable to hate on this, but he’s a progressive Catholic humanist who understands *why* LOTR works. That’s the best possible type of person to adapt the Tom Bombadil section of Fellowship for today.

There’s no downside to giving this man’s dream a chance

Carol Kaye is probably the most underrated bass player in history. And probably your favorite bass player that you didn’t realize was your favorite bass player. Do a quick search of every hit that she played on.

3 Screenshots from the movie "The Breakfast Club" (1985): First, an exterior shot of Shermer High School, a modern concrete building with wide steps, accompanied by the subtitle "Saturday, March 24, 1984." Second, a rebellious teenage boy lounges with his feet up on a table, dressed in layered flannel and a fingerless glove, smirking as he says, "Does Barry Manilow know that you raid his wardrobe?" Third, a stern older man in a tan blazer and black shirt holds a bunch of pens, glaring as he replies, "Don't mess with the bull, young man, you'll get the horns."

I honestly think it's fine to go out of your way to de-normalize Trump's behavior. Yeah it's the same as always, but let's be on record as vocally opposing it.

Somehow “anti-Zionism is not antisemitism” has morphed into “antisemitism is totally fine if you dress it up as anti-Zionism,” an evolution which by the way ADL and AJC have facilitated.

Art by flaroh illustration. March's illustration is of Artemis with her hounds in an ornate portrait scene. Ribbons embellish her bow, arrow, and dog's collars, and she wears a thin scarf at her neck, all of which blow away from the direction of the arrow's path. The palette is almost entirely blue, apart from her skin and the dog's collars, which are all peach.
