This is a bit of a rough and ready estimate, and I only can count England for certain but I get 62. This is from our Historic England work (historicengland.org.uk/images-books...) full list of buddhist buildings in appendix. Didn't count any Triratna in that 62, or lone monks in centres.

Sticking my head above the parapet as missing online academic chatter - I’m Caroline, sociologist of religion in Britain but I love a bit of history, currently writing a book on Spiritualism in Yorkshire, inside and outside institution, including in pubs. Often writing about British Buddhism.
