It's possible 45 Goodramgate, York had a door canopy like the one at Jacob's Well. I had a go at reconstructing it by superimposing sketches of them both. The joy of thinking with a pencil.

I was curious about the poses that the French artist Bouguereau painted. Seemed tricky. So I got my model to tackle one of them and sure enough those twists were impossible. So I worked on it in half: did the waist up and then the next day did hips to feet. This is the top half.
