Day 1: Spooky Beetle
This month I am participating in Mab's Drawlloween and every single day I am making a new little ACEO sized linoleum block print in limited editions of 13! Only a couple of these are left!

(I forgot to post on here so gonna be playing catch up today!)

I love how the blocks are interacting with one another already. I can't wait to print these!

Nothing like handprinting an entire cloth napkin to see an area you forgot to carve. 😂 I know better but I rarely test print.

Well, we need some new napkins anyway, but I guess eventually this type of thing will go into a mystery bundle.

I found my old etching tools! I know I have copper somewhere in the depths of my overstuffed garage....

Filled up my drying rack halfway last night! Determined to fill it the rest of the way tonight!

😂 This is me trying to tone down details.

Even though my black ink was dead I was still able to pull a couple of test prints last night at least. The bright side is I have time to finish a few other pieces before my shop update with this delay!

Step 1: Get back to printmaking after a while away

Step 2: Draw & carve a bunch of blocks while telling people about your shop update

Step 3: Go to print blocks and find that your ink is completely dry 😭🤦🏼‍♀️

100% I literally just got back from the library with some basically brand new books they were selling! I never can leave without at least one 😅

Also the big sales a few times a year too!! I always leave with a huge bag of books 📚

"Friends of the Library" programs are the best!! I literally just came back from the library with a few books I bought!
