We didn't make a supreme like planned, but made two dessert pizzas. A s'more pizza and a dulce de leche fruit pizza. I use the same crust recipe but add vanilla, cinnamon, crushed graham crackers to the dough.

Our neighbor brought over some brisket, we used that with queso fresco, smoked hatch chili and charred corn. Then drizzled with a lime sour cream sauce.

My husbands favorite is pepperoni, mozzarella fresh jalapeños, and topped with goat cheese. Hit it with hot honey when it's done cooking.

Cheeseburger pizza withground beef, thinly sliced red onion bacon, Mexican cheese mix. When off the grill we topped it with some quick pickled relish made.

Pizza with pesto, mozzarella and prosciutto. Pulled it off and topped with arugula and balsamic reduction.

Last night we had a pizza party with some friends. Of course not one picture of the pizza was taken. I had some extra dough left over this morning and made some breakfast pizza. Marinara, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and a mix of mozzarella and mexican cheese mix. 🍜

Our 11 year old boy was such a trooper on this trip. He came with us on this trip because Petrified Forest, the Grand Canyon and Saguaro NPs were more accessible when traveling with a dog.

He sunbathed and was a personal heater for our girls at night. The best good boy.

Our last night we camped 5 minutes from the Mescal film set where Tombstone, The Outlaw Josie Wales and The Quick And The Dead were filmed.

In honor of Gene Hackman we decided to watch The Quick and The Dead while roasting s'mores under the stars.

Next up was Saguaro National Park. It definitely exceeded my expectations. Played a game with our girls where you personify the cactus. We'd pick cactus, make up a scenario and laugh about what they might be saying. 10/10 would recommend.
