A fun thing about being a post-folklore Swiftocrat™️ who held the (TV) line means I got some new music by Taylor Swift today 😎

Pleased to share this article I co-wrote w my DCD colleague, Dr. Anna Mukamal, published in the Journal of Interdisciplinary Digital Engagement in Arts & Humanities (IDEAH)
We argue for the value of expansive critical making pedagogy in undergraduate DH programs

Wow this looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing resources — wish I could join!
I haven’t read yet lol (I am very bad at actually estimating what I can read in a month 🤣)— but it’s probably next up TBR
And some faves reflecting in technology, information, and the self
Some textile-incorporated faves
Some semesters you just need to close out with a day of art 🥰
A few highlights from #ArtFields2025 yesterday (my first visit but definitely becoming a yearly visit!)
Love this!
I’m going to pull my teeth out if the left tears itself apart over whether Pete or AOC would be a better candidate while Trump dismantles every single check on his power.
Let’s have the debate while deep down adoring both of them as insanely smart, principled politicians that we are lucky to have.

CCU english department faculty who won various awards in faculty innovation
The CCU space program core faculty team, minus one
One really weird (and mostly fun) collab I’m in is our Space Program — a STEAM project where we + students build a cube-satellite that will orbit our coastline and enable various forms of data collection
Anyway we won the university-wide faculty innovation Award for Student Success
I’m really liking it overall! Not too challenging though it does have a brioche section (there’s a non-brioche option too though) — Plus it’s one of his Mystery Knit along designs so has a robust video tutorial support system that are great
Thank you! And agreed — this was more exciting than AI to be sure. The pattern is Go Go Dynamo by Westknits
Evening zooms for AI training (😑) require crafts

Listen I know it’s all bleak but my home county went blue for the first time probably ever yesterday & following Cory Booker & WI…I’ve got a something like hope coming through
YESSSSS
I am cringe but I am free. This is amazing.
I want to make a punny inspirational sign and go to the senate floor to hold it up and cheer for Cory Booker’s finish, like they do for the last 0.2 of a marathon!
If ever there was a time for the overlong “this is more of a comment than a question” question, it’s now, in the Senate

Feels like a flex today so 💅🏼

So real
For the #AcademicSky / #Severance Venn diagram:
I feel like I need to write about this show; anyone else?
Any CFPs / special issues / panels / edited collections / etc. out there? Is it time for something maybe?
Thoughts?
