As ridership swells, bill to study expanding passenger rail service out of Twin Cities revived More people than ever hopped on Amtrak trains in Minnesota last year, including nearly 200,000 in St. Paul.

Not enough trains too many riders:

"Rail ridership locally is surging. In fiscal year 2025, just under 200,000 travelers got on or off Amtrak trains at St. Paul’s Union Depot." 58% increase "the highest ridership in the Twin Cities by far in the past 15 years."

Countless neighbors are at immediate risk of displacement and this measure is the bare minimum the City can do to protect our neighbors. Can I count on his support?"

Today, the Mpls City Council passed the Pause Evictions, Save Lives ordinance, which would extend the pre-eviction notice period from 30 to 60 days.

Take action now and call Mayor Frey (612-673-2100) and tell him to stand with our neighbors and extend the pre-eviction filing period.
