I made this screen print to highlight the absurdities of war quite a few years ago now.
It is based upon this old comic advert for a polaris nuclear sub.
Anyway war is horrible and absurd and humans can be real weirdos.

I don't know how to describe this... it is an art work of a man sitting crossed leg with a game controller and he has a monitor for a head but the art work is very grungy with a lot of noise and drips and painted out brush strokes.
Screen print and painting on wood of a woman with a monitor for a head... she is looking at her phone and there are paint drips and a background detail of competing arrows.
Going through the art archive last week and there are some genuinely bonkers art works that I would have a hard time recreating now.
No idea how I did this first one. Maybe silk screen with painting and then did I ride over it on my bike?

The movie RAD came out 40 years ago. I loved it as a kid. Watched it a hundred times. Got to watch it with my 6 year old this weekend and he loved it too. He asked to swap out his Spider-Verse poster for my RAD poster so now he has this killer print up in his room. #Art by JJ Harrison. #screenprint

This "The Stile at Tintagel" hand pulled screen print is a four colour print which is an open edition. Each one is named and signed by me. It is based on a stone squeeze stile found at Tintagel, Cornwall. The size of the paper is 25.5cm x 22cm approximately. The artwork size is 18cm x 14cm approximately. It's hand printed printed in yellow, stone, green and dark green on Somerset Velvet Radiant White printing paper.
This Stile at Tintagel print is now done; I got 29 out of 30 good ones.
Based on a stone squeeze stile at Tintagel, Cornwall.
It is one of three more affordable prints.
