NEW MAP, our chasing multiplayer game is evolving, here is a new city, with more verticality. C++ is going well for chara, we should try this soon. all assets are home made and well opti.

Hoooo I see. I went until lvl 74. Early is a bit difficult, but after act 4 you will run on the game. If you use reaver use the weapon swap technique to summon them. After that it’s pure joy :)

I’ve build an infernalist, I basically just walk around. Was thinking about rerolling as a sorc it seems op as fuck but maybe it’s a high budget build

Hey the concept is amazing ! I always wanted to mix different forms of art from manual to digital. How was the topology on this ? Did you had to rework it a lot ?

Haha well done ! Thanks you to clarify this ! Im better at Japanese now (wasn’t difficult to improve tho)

GitHub with lfs comes with his own issues but I’m still happy to work with for this exact reason. Had to do a shit load of roll back ! Good luck :/

Yea I found it :) it looks amazing but it is quite expensive as well haha maybe on discount. It’s seems absolutely perfect to creat some beautiful stylized landscape !

Hey it’s seems very interesting. I learn Unreal engine but with a focus on environnement and level building (3D assets, materials, pcg etc) if I don’t need to focus on the gameplay part can I still join ? Or is it for people that want to cover all parts of unreal dev

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

Pretty nice ! Is it difficult to implement ?

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

It’s a shit ton of new informations I can understand that. But honestly if you just don’t use new features it might not be so different from unity. A lot of stuff like frustrum culling are already included and other like lod and hlod are not so bad to do. Just be careful with bp assets for hlod haha

i'm a kid, every time i work on something i have to test it out, even if its not finished. First time i import a character fully made by me, still a lot of work to do but i'm kind of proud right now.

If you are doing low poly game don’t bother with nanite. The flat cost is too much and lod are quite easy to implement. Same with lumen, baking light is a good option right now. It’s a very complet game engine but not everything works with every style

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

Anyway it’s actually a very cool project so you can proud of yourself just for that. I saw it on x few month ago and It was a very good inspiration for me so thanks you :)

Hoooo they are so coool !!!!

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

Do you have some good tuto, websites, articles about optimisation on unreal ? I did lod, hlod, mipmap, texture resize, light baking, tried to swap some static meshes for some blueprint. But I still think that I can improve perf.

still WIP, clothes sculpting, hair, and facial personality are quite hard to deal with. its reaaalllyyyyy a lot of work. but its amazing to see a face change so drastically by changing just a small feature on it .
