From Karen: I have spent this past 10 days in Israel – where we are at war with Iran. Sirens have decreased in Jerusalem but still periodically wake us up from our slumber or lead us to find bomb shelters in strange neighborhoods or places.
Most everyone knows those who aren't big readers, but are very big listeners! 🎧

To be in Israel this week is a surreal experience. Shabbat morning at around 8 am the first sirens wailed though the city streets. It is jarring and scary to hear your phone explode with alarming sound and the sound on the street attacks your ears. Read more on the blog.
