Everyone on the @uzdoom.bsky.social team has been working to optimise the engine ever since it was still GZDoom, it's just considerably harder than hitting the Magical Go-Fast Button and all the easy victories have already been achieved. Future efforts (sprite render rework etc.) will demand sweat!

As promised, a battle demonstration in which I play Virus vs a prebuilt Doom army. It is REAL uphill going against an army thatβs already on the field. I manage, but I spend a lot more than the enemy cost.π§΅

After several "failed attempts", I've managed to recreate Reelism 1's Global Reels on Ultimate Reelism and the reel iReelism as been completely remade to be adapted for any screen size!
Here's the complete list of the Global Effects (A.K.A. Slot 1 Reels) from Reelism 1 that will return on Ultimate Reelism. Remember that some of them are moved to the Jackpot Reels to balance the game. Also 2 lost reels from no longer existing Doom websites.
Plus, a completely new randomizer for players who wants to play with weapon replacement and enemy replacement mods at the same time. UZRemix: The MAD Randomizer for UZDoom! Featuring the enemies from Dewzan's Randomizer, CherubCorps' Angelic Aviary, Chex Quest, Outlaw Enemies, PSI Powers and some familiar folks from Ultimate Reelism. Available March 1st.

A bit of an update for this year activity: I've been continue working on a survival horror game called NOL while working on Mala Petaka expansion pack. This game will be short but I hope it would give you a 'different' experience from playing a Doom engine game.

Hell Nobles are Tier 3, Maximii are Tier 4, but they have identical costs. Itβs reasonable to assume that fully upgraded Hell Nobles would be facing down base Maximii, timing wise. As you can see, those upgrades matter!π§΅
