🆕 New #CRC1502 (C03) publication alert!
@heikeschimmel.bsky.social Schimmel et al., (2025) trace 40 years of peatland restoration in German post-extracted bogs, showing how rewetting and vegetation recovery reduce mineral N stocks and enhance carbon stability over time.

New publication in the European Review of Ag Econ: Organic cultivation and farmland prices: Does certification matter? Land transaction data shows that time and space matter: certification may be valued particularly in organic cluster regions. Valuations increase over time. s.gwdg.de/9ieqnL
New publication in Organic Agriculture: Organic and carbon farming: friends or foes? Our answer for Germany using Q methodology is: it depends. Perceived climatic benefits with additional restrictions cannot convince autonomy focused organic farmers.
