everyone wants to talk about "how can we ensure that men are self actualized patriarchs!?"

no one wants to talk about, "how do we end men being tortured in our awful prisons."

There Isn't a Crisis of Masculinity Masculinity is the crisis.

we're doing masculine crisis discourse again, I guess.

so I'll post this again. Patriarchy *defines masculinity as a crisis*; that's how patriarchy works. www.everythingishorrible.net/p/there-isnt...

We have seen this before - but this time is different, since they've gutted our staff and ransacked our #grant programs. The American people deserve better than this obliteration of our #culture and #history and #heritage. #NEH #NEA #IMLS

Q: “Have you been in touch with El Salvador about returning Abrego Garcia? Has a formal request from this administration been made?”

Rubio: “I would never tell you that. And you know who else I'd never tell? A judge.”

It is very good for the public that judges across the country are now doing the "change the case code" move so that the dockets in these cases can be accessed on PACER.

[Immigration case filings are only accessible in person, not on PACER.]

Appalling. I've known Tatchell for years as narcissistic, deceitful, and driven by publicity. But here he is selling out every single LGBT+ asylum seeker in the UK--just to get airtime on a far-right, Farage-affiliated TV network and a headline in the racist Daily Mail. It's unbelievably disgusting.

The conclave starts May 7! Please call your local cardinal to ask for his vote. If canvassing door-to-door, be polite, reverential, & kiss ring fingers or other organs. Hint: Blackmail is always OK! 21 months is probably too young to enjoy Tallinn fully; but snap lots of photos with him and later you can tell him, Sorry kid, we already took you to Disneyland

I stayed in Tallinn with a Russian family who served me salami, caviar, and vodka shots for breakfast. When I downed the first shot in a gulp, the father shouted, "You drink like a Russian!" I felt fully assimilated to E Europe for the first time. By noon I was ready to overrun a few countries.

Tallinn I was in 30 years ago so I'm hardly up to date, but make time to walk--it's adorably cute. If you rent a car there are great castles and palaces in the countryside--Rakvere, Toompea, Koluvere, Narva, more. The Moderna Museet in Stockholm is fabulous; I particularly liked the design section.

"The Governor is on an island of one, opposing HAVP" said Natalia Aristizabal, our Deputy Director.

The fight for the Housing Access Voucher Program continues and, with an affordability + housing crisis in NY, we NEED @governor.ny.gov to pass #HAVP NOW more than ever!
