This morning, we joined a coalition of lawmakers and advocates, including State Senator Kavanagh and Assemblymember Rosenthal, to push for $250 million to be included in the New York State budget to increase funding for #HAVP!
‼️Tenants make up half our state and we owe it to them to make rent affordable.
This year, we must expand access to housing vouchers by fully funding #HAVP at $250 million, passing the #RESTAct & preserving hard-fought tenant protections in our 2019 rent laws.
Every New Yorker deserves safe and affordable housing.
