I resisted downloading #FM26 as I wasn’t sure if my elderly Mac would cope & the reviews weren’t great.

I downloaded it for the free weekend & discovered the following

1. My elderly Mac could cope
2. It’s every bit as bad as people say
3. Glad I didn’t pay

Fingers crossed FM27 can turn it around

Just back from watching #Akira at the cinema.

What an incredible, immersive, almost overwhelming experience.

Seeing the beautiful, groundbreaking animation & hearing the iconic soundtrack as intended was nothing short of magical.

If you can catch a viewing this weekend, don’t hesitate!

Tonight I finished Chuck Wendig’s Star Wars Aftermath trilogy. It’s been a great read and creates a satisfying coda to the original trilogy.

Highly recommended for any fans looking to move beyond the films and TV series.

I loved watching #NBA Raw on Channel 4 in the 90s, but after that stopped airing, I kinda lost track of the league.

I recently discovered that NBA is on Prime & l have been glued to the coverage every weekend.

Only trouble is, I have no one to support as the Sonics were my team back in the day…

Some thoughts on the #F1 ‘new era’.

The changes add unnecessary complication & take away from the pure racing.

Is a driver slow or just recharging? Could they have closed a gap without a boost? Would they have taken that place without an unstoppable overtake button?

It feels artificial to me.
