I had a similar thought this morning, what is there even to say? This is just aimless killing detached from any purpose, completely impossible to imagine any outcome better than the pre-war status quo.

I did manage to make it to the end without losing any outposts- unfortunately the flipside is that everyone was starving and I was unable to evacuate the wounded by the end because I'd been too busy focusing on the combat aspect. But hey, still made it to the month of May at least.
